Vacation Bible School

Vacation Bible School is traditionally held the week after school ends for the summer. The five-day program accepts kids ranging in age from 3 years to completed 5th grade. The church has also offered daycare in the afternoon following VBS.

This Year's VBS

At Hero HeadQuarters, kids will meet five unlikely Bible heroes who are often overlooked. They were not famous leaders or called by God to perform amazing miracles—yet their small acts were used by God to do wonderful things! Help kids discover that if they’re willing to be used by God in any situation, no matter how big or small, they can make a difference. With God’s power at work, they can be heros right where they are!

  • A servant girl speaks up, and God’s power heals Naaman.
  • Shepherds see baby Jesus and tell everyone about the Savior.
  • An army officer goes to Jesus, and Jesus heals his servant.
  • A boy shares his food, and Jesus feeds more than 5,000 people.
  • A young man shows courage, and Paul lives to serve Jesus.

Structure

CraftsMusicPasadena Presbyterian had more than 140 children participating June 8-12 at "Son Rock Kids' Camp" this past summer. Sixty volunteers worked to provide a Bible story and verses, crafts, snacks, music and a lot of fun, based on the Gospel Light curriculum.

Preschool classes are grouped according to age, with a small teacher-student ratio. Music, snacks and crafts are brought to the preschool classes to supplement the teacher's talents. Older children visit various specialized areas for snacks, crafts, music, Bible work and the morning opening.

OutreachPreschool Class
