Vacation Bible School

Vacation Bible School is traditionally held the week after school ends for the summer. The five-day program accepts kids ranging in age from 3 years to completed 5th grade. The church has also offered daycare in the afternoon following VBS.

Structure

Pasadena Presbyterian had more than 140 children participating June 8-12 at "Son Rock Kids' Camp" this past summer. Sixty volunteers worked to provide a Bible story and verses, crafts, snacks, music and a lot of fun, based on the Gospel Light curriculum.

Preschool classes are grouped according to age, with a small teacher-student ratio. Music, snacks and crafts are brought to the preschool classes to supplement the teacher's talents. Older children visit various specialized areas for snacks, crafts, music, Bible work and the morning opening. 

Outreach

The VBS outreach brought the Gospel to the children and there were 47 first-time professions of faith in Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior.
